1. 서비스

World Pop Crossword(이하 「앱」)는 해외 팝송 제목으로 낱말 퍼즐을 풀며 영어를 익히는 무료 게임입니다. 앱은 크로스워드 게임즈(김남훈, 개인 개발자 — 이하 「운영자」)가 만들고 운영합니다. 앱을 쓰면 이 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

2. 계정

• 로그인 없이(게스트로) 쓸 수 있습니다. 게스트 기록은 기기에만 저장되어, 앱을 지우거나 기기를 바꾸면 사라집니다.
• Google 계정으로 로그인하려면 만 14세 이상(또는 거주 국가에서 스스로 동의할 수 있는 나이 이상)이어야 합니다.
• 계정은 언제든 앱에서 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제하면 기록을 되살릴 수 없습니다.

3. 닉네임과 이용 규칙

• 욕설·혐오·성적인 표현, 다른 사람이나 단체를 사칭하는 닉네임, 광고성 닉네임은 쓸 수 없습니다. 운영자는 그런 닉네임을 초기화할 수 있습니다.
• 프로그램을 고치거나 자동으로 풀게 하는 등 부정한 방법으로 점수·아이템을 얻으면 안 됩니다. 그런 기록은 순위표에서 지우고 이용을 제한할 수 있습니다.
• 앱이나 서버를 방해하거나, 허락 없이 데이터를 대량으로 가져가면 안 됩니다.

4. 아이템과 광고

• 아이템·디스크·점수 등은 게임 안에서만 쓰는 것으로, 현금 가치가 없고 환불·양도·환전할 수 없습니다.
• 앱에는 광고가 나옵니다. 보상형 광고는 보고 싶을 때만 보며, 끝까지 보면 광고 보물상자가 열립니다. 나오는 아이템과 확률은 광고를 보기 전에 화면에서 확인할 수 있습니다(광고 버튼 옆의 「나올 확률」).
• 인앱결제는 없습니다.

5. 노래 영상과 YouTube

모든 노래 영상은 YouTube 공식 임베드 플레이어로 재생됩니다(공식 채널 영상만 씁니다). 영상을 재생하면 YouTube 서비스 약관에 동의하는 것입니다. 영상과 음악의 저작권은 아티스트와 레이블 등 각 권리자에게 있으며, 앱은 영상을 내려받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 권리자나 YouTube 의 사정으로 어떤 영상은 재생되지 않을 수 있고, 그래도 퍼즐은 계속 풀 수 있습니다.

이 앱은 특정 가수 · 음반사와 제휴하거나 그들의 보증을 받은 것이 아닙니다. 노래 제목 · 가수 이름 · 차트 기록 같은 사실만 쓰고, 가사는 싣지 않습니다.

6. 서비스의 변경과 중단

판·기능·보상·순위표 규칙은 바뀔 수 있고, 점검이나 장애로 서비스가 잠시 멈출 수 있습니다. 서비스를 끝낼 때는 미리 앱에서 알립니다.

7. 책임의 한계

앱은 무료로 「있는 그대로」 제공됩니다. 운영자의 고의나 중대한 과실이 없는 한, 기기 고장·통신 문제·이용자의 관리 소홀로 기록이 사라진 것 등에 대해서는 책임지지 않습니다. 소비자에게 법이 보장하는 권리는 이 조항으로 줄어들지 않습니다.

8. 그 밖에

• 약관이 바뀌면 앱과 이 페이지에서 알립니다. 바뀐 뒤에도 계속 쓰면 동의한 것으로 봅니다.
• 이 약관은 대한민국 법을 따릅니다. 다만 소비자가 사는 나라의 강행 법규가 주는 보호는 그대로 적용됩니다.

1. The service

World Pop Crossword (the “app”) is a free word-puzzle game for learning English with pop song titles. The app is made and operated by Crossword Games (Namhoon Kim, individual developer — the “operator”). By using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

• You can play without signing in. Guest progress is stored on your device only and is lost if you uninstall the app or change devices.
• To sign in with Google you must be at least 14, and old enough to consent to data processing in your country (up to 16 in some countries).
• You can delete your account in the app at any time. Deleted records cannot be restored.

3. Nicknames and conduct

• Nicknames must not contain profanity, hate speech or sexual content, impersonate any person or organization, or advertise. We may reset such nicknames.
• You must not obtain scores or items by modifying the app, automating play, or any other unfair means. We may remove such records from leaderboards and restrict access.
• You must not interfere with the app or its servers, or scrape data without permission.

4. Items and ads

• Items, discs and scores exist only inside the game. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred or exchanged.
• The app shows ads. Rewarded ads are optional; watching one to the end opens an ad treasure chest. You can check the possible items and their drop rates before you watch (the “Drop rates” link next to the ad button).
• There are no in-app purchases.

5. Music videos and YouTube

All music videos are played through YouTube's official embedded player (official channel uploads only). By playing videos you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Copyright in the videos and music belongs to the respective artists, labels and other rights holders; the app does not download or store them. Some videos may be unavailable because of the rights holder or YouTube; you can still solve the puzzle.

This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by any artist or record label. It uses only facts such as song titles, artist names and chart records, and does not include lyrics.

6. Changes and interruptions

Boards, features, rewards and leaderboard rules may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or outages. If we discontinue the service we will announce it in the app in advance.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is provided free of charge and “as is”. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for loss of records caused by device failure, network problems or your own handling. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law guarantees you.

8. General

• If these terms change, we will post the update in the app and on this page. Continued use means you accept the changes.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
